Social Media Post Production Coordinator

Remote and/or Los Angeles

We are seeking an experienced Post Production Coordinator to work as part of a dynamic team that oversees our projects from start to finish. Collaborative working is a must, with a need to liaise with many internal specialist teams and the client to ensure our content is maintained at the highest standards and deadlines. A strong technical background, willingness to learn and ask questions, and great logistical skills are core to this position. Our primary client is Netflix, so we get to work on a lot of cool stuff.

    • Create email kick-offs for videos heading to freelancers and internal team members

    • Track and manage post schedules

    • Diagnose issues with footage and escalate to leadership in a timely manner when needed

    • Ensure files are named properly and organized properly within our online databases

    • Update and manage internal databases/trackers

    • Create, update and proactively maintain inward and outward-facing post production resources and documents

    • Set up workflow calls with the production team and all stakeholders

    • Set up key creative approval sessions such as remote edit reviews

    • Serve as a bridge between productions and internal teams to ensure both sides receive pertinent updates in a timely manner

    • Set up and attend post production calls and meetings as needed

    • Maintain and curate preferred vendor lists

    • Research and maintain preferred freelance post crew

    • Audit completion/delivery of post production materials during prep, production, archive and wrap.

    • Proven experience in quality control in video or media production, with a strong focus on social media content

    • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest quality standards

    • Excellent communication and training skills, capable of leading both staff and contractors in best practices

    • Technical proficiency in video editing, QC tools, and an understanding of social media video safe zones

    • Ability to work on Pacific Standard Time, as needed

    • Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Slack, Monday.com, and Google Mail
